Meet the KeySweeper: a covert wireless keyboard logger that looks like an adapter but can sniff, log, and report keystrokes from a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard in the vicinity online via a GSM chip. The data can be stored on the device and sent to a second KeySweeper when in range. KeySweeper has the ability to send a SMS message when a certain keystrokes are typed (e.g. “bank”). The device does have a backup battery, so it would work covertly when unplugged.

Samy Kamkar is behind this cool tool. Those of you who love Arduino are going to find this project interesting. The good news is Samy has shared a lot of useful information about this project on his site.
